Facelift Philadelphia

If you are bothered by signs of aging in your face, facelift surgery may be right for you. Technically known as "rhytidectomy", a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. This procedure corrects issues from: Sagging skin around the cheeks and jaw, deep creases below the lower eyelids, deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth, loss of fat volume around the face, loss of muscle definition in the lower part of the face or saggy jowls, loose skin and excess fat deposits under the chin and jaw giving the appearance of a "double chin".

Other procedures typically performed at the same time as a Face Lift are brow lift and eyelid surgery.

Silhouette Lift

From the age of 40, the face and cheeks start to sag and we feel the passage of time. The Silhouette Lift gives you the opportunity to get back that face, that smile, that freshness that you had when you never even thought about your skin and appearance.

Silhouette Lift is a new face-lift technique that is performed with local anesthetic in less than 45 minutes and without any hospitalization. The recovery is immediate and allows you to return to normal activities within 2 days and after 2 weeks the face is recovered and is soft and natural, no sign of the procedure! The Silhouette Lift is not designed to replace a classic face lift. The Silhouette Lift offers an alternative that delivers almost as much a result via a procedure that is much lower in price, less risky, and with much less downtime.

Why is the Silhouette Lift different from other similar procedures?

The sutures used for the Silhoutte Lift are made from polypropylene, a biocompatible material with the human body, and has been used extensively in cardiovascular and opthalmic surgery. The sutures are FDA approved and also received the CE mark in Europe. Because the sutures are not using barbs, and are therefore easier to place and manipulate during the procedure, and more importantly, the sutures are not painful for the patient. The Silhouette Lift sutures are the most innovative sutures to date.

How is the procedure performed?

The procedure takes place in 4 stages. Insertion – Deployment – Anchoring – Suspension - Fixation The threads are inserted on the bias through a micro-incision in the temporal region. The sutures are passed through with a special micro needle and anchored in the temporal region producing a lift or a suspension, and then fixed in place.

Who is a candidate for the Silhouette Lift?

Women or Men, typically starting in the late 30s with mild to moderate facial laxity. This procedure is not a replacement of a full facelift, but does address laxity of the jowls, nasiolabial folds, and cheeks. We also provide a combination treatment with the SMARTLIPO™, where we can provide sculpting and tightening of the chin. We also offer Laser Blepharoplasty to fix the area around the eyes to get rid the puffy saggy skin around the eyes. Schedule your consultation for a Facelift, or Silhouette Lift today!
