Cosmetic fillers have been around for over twenty years. Originally, cosmetic fillers were invented to address loss of tissue and collagen in HIV patients. How much does a cosmetic filler cost?

JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel and Restylane generally are the least expensive treatments cosmetic fillers we offer.  They vary in price based on the size of the syringe, with most offices charging between $500 - $700 per syringe.  The price depends on the cost of the medication, and the number of syringes your need.  The more syringes you purchase for each individual treatment, the cheaper the price per syringe, because the labor portion of the service is more or less the same for the facility.   Other fillers such as Radiesse®, Artefill and Sculptra are priced a bit higher, about $600 - $1200 per syringe, but they do last a bit longer.  To find out exactly how much your treatment will cost you, please schedule a FREE consultation with our office.

What should I expect during the treatment?

 When you arrive at our office for the treatment, we will go over your medical history, discuss your expected results and potential risks.  Your face will then be prepared for treatment (makeup removed) and a photograph will be taken for our records and to track your progress.  The doctor will then mix the medication and inject the areas with the medication to correct the wrinkles you're concerned about.  The treatment will take between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how many injections you will need, and you will be given post-care instructions.  You will then return to our office in two weeks for a follow up visit, to check the results or touch up an area, and another photograph will be taken for comparison.  When asked about their treatments, most people feel that the treatments are generally painless.  Results are usually visible immediately after the treatment, with further improvement after several weeks or months.
