Thin LipsYour lip shape is as individual as your fingerprints. Heredity determines the shape and size of your lips. However, if you are dissatisfied with the shape of your lips, there is help.
FillersFillers are frequently used as a temporary fix. A filler, like Juvaderm, Restylane or Hylaform is injected in to the lips around the border and in the center to add volume and reshape the lips. How much filler and how volumnous the lips are after the treatment is up to you, but we recommend to keep things looking natural. Too much of a good thing is sometimes not good either.
ImplantsMany people like to have a permanent solution and implants are it. However, as with any surgery, implants carry the risk of scarring, displacement, and do have to be removed after some period of years and replaced.
AFT (Autologous Fat Transfer) with Stem CellsAnother recent alternative used to reshape lips is AFT. Your own fat is harvested, processed and stem cells are added. Then, the compound is injected with microinjections in to the lips to add volume and shape. This method, which lasts much longer than fillers and is considered semi-permanent, offers a totally natural look and feel.
