As we age, the accumulated effects of sun exposure, tanning, pollutants, acne, poor diet, and stress damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are. Skin damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to promote cell growth and produce smoother, clearer skin.

What kinds of Chemical Peels are offered?

We offer a full selection of peels, selected specifically for your skin type and condition. Chemical peels must compliment your skin type and condition. Our expert, licensed aestheticians will determine the appropriate course of treatment from one of the following chemical peels offered at our medspa:

• Glycolic - an alpha-hydroxy acid based peel perfect for gentle exfoliation
• Salicylic - uses Salicylic acid perfect to treat acne
• Lactic - a light chemical peel that actually hydrates the skin as it exfoliates.
• Jessner - considered a medium grade peel, and is a combination salicylic, resorcinol, and lactic acid used to treate a variety of skin conditions, including acne
• PCA combination peels - we carry 5 different varieties of PCA Skin peels, enzyme peels, Sensi Peel, Ultra I and Ultra II and more

What should I expect after treatment?

Our peels are medical grade and vary from mild to medium grade peels for serious results. After the peel, you can return to your normal activities with the protection of a good sunscreen with at least SPF30. The results are amazing, especially when followed up by proper and ongoing home care maintenance with a good regiment of skin care. Peels, when combined with Microdermabrasion, are even more effective in exfoliating the skin. For problematic skin with deep sun damage, we also offer PhotoGenesis® - a laser based procedure that targets hyperpigmentation (age spots, brown spots, etc.).
