The amount of BOTOX® Cosmetic needed is determined by a doctor based on the thickness/strength of the muscle to be treated, how deep your wrinkles are, and other factors. In general, you can expect to pay about $150 to $300 per area (i.e. crows feet, glabella, forehead, etc.). You'll find prices on a per unit basis to be generally between $12 to $16 per unit. The price a facility pays for the legitimate (i.e. authentic) BOTOX® Cosmetic units is the same for all offices. If you find a price that is "too good to be true", it probably is "too good to be true". Several physicians in the past few years have been sanctioned and even jailed for using illegal or fake "botox" manufactured in China or India after their patients suffered terrible consequences. In general, and especially when dealing with injected medical compounds, ensuring your safety is our number one priority. We use only genuine BOTOX® Cosmetic from Allergan (the only company that makes BOTOX® Cosmetic), and it is not dilluted as you'll find some other offices who offer "bargain" prices on this treatment. The reality is that there is nothing available today that is FDA approved that does what BOTOX® Cosmetic does. There are several similar medications that are used in Europe and are in the process of being reviewed for cosmetic use in the USA, but these are not yet approved.
